Part of my Read, Rate, File it Done Reviews :) Afterwards though it was off to the races and I adored it (as usual). I do admit that this outing with a huge cast of the main characters, I thought Jane's voice sounded different and Megan sounded more like I was used to hearing Jane so there was a bit of an adjustment for me at the beginning. Seriously though, even for a young couple they weren't too angsty so they earned major points for that plus they were both geeks so I totally rooted for them :) :) This was a total blast to listen too! Amanda Ronconi really brings Molly's writing alive. Plus all my old favorites were back and up to general hijinks that made me giggle. While the main characters in this one ( Ben and Megan) were a little on the New Adult side for me (sorry college romance just isn't my thing) they were still really fun. Listened for Fun (Audible) Overall Rating: 4.25 Story Rating: 4.00 Character Rating: 4.50 Audio Rating: 4.50 (not part of the overall rating) I love Half-Moon Hallow! The series is full of quirky characters, bat-sh*t crazy scenerios, and so cram packed full of humor that I find myself bursting out laughing at least once every 30 min (Hey I listen so I can time that). It's nice to have this series all tied up, but it ended right after the holidays and Ms Harper had a lot of comedic opportunities (gift giving by Georgie and her first Christmas with people other than Ophelia, for instance) that she didn't take advantage of, yet we had to endure a luke warm sex scene in a field. Less formulaic writing and plot development. What would have made this romance irresistible? I love the Pocket Vamp :) Georgie is such a contained character, and Amanda Ronconi plays her perfectly. Which character – as performed by Amanda Ronconi – was your favorite?

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!) I think Ms Harper has lost interest in writing about Half-Moon Hollow's residents and it shows. Was it worth the time? I'm on the fence about that. I found Ben irritating in the previous books and he is only moderately more interesting in this one. I have enjoyed this series, but sadly, this is the weakest one. Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not? Well, I think this is the last one of the series.
